UFC Cuts Rich Clementi and Luigi Fioravanti
by Jason Benfari on February 10, 2009

UFC veteran's Rich Clementi and Luigi Fioravanti have apperently been cut by the UFC. Both men were taken out in the first round of thier fights at UFC Fight Night 17 in matchups against Gleison Tibau and Anthony Johnson respectively.

Clementi (32-13-1) has now dropped two straight, also losing via unanimous decision to Gray Maynard at UFC 90. The 31 year old Clementi holds big victories over Anthony Johnson, Ryan Schultz and Melvin Guillard and was riding a six fight win streak before his recent losses.

Fioravanti (14-5) has lost two of his last three fights and has been unspectacular against UFC competition going 4-5 in his time spent with the organization.
