UFC Fight Night 19 is officially set to go down as all participants competing on tomorrow night's event made weight on their first attempt, except Nate Diaz, earlier in the day from the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
UFN 19 will take place tomorrow night, Sept. 16, at the same venue, and the event's main card will be televised on Spike TV beginning at 8 pm ET. The event will be followed by the much anticipated debut episode of the upcoming 10th season of the Ultimate Fighter, which will showcase fighters in the heavyweight division.
The event is headlined by a lightweight bout between TUF 5 winner Nate Diaz and fellow TUF alum Melvin Guillard. Diaz clearly struggled to make weight as he came in on his first attempt at 156.5 pounds, which is a half pound over the 156-pound limit. Diaz was able to hit the 156 lbs. mark on the second attempt after the weigh-in ceremony. Guillard made weight without any problems, as he came in at a ripped 155 pounds.
In the co-main event, Roger Huerta and Gray Maynard will clash in another lightweight feature, which will be Huerta's last bout on his current UFC contract. Huerta came in at the lightweight limit of 156 pounds and Maynard was a half-pound lighter at 155.5 lbs.
Additional match-ups to be featured on the main card include a welterweight bout between former WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit and Octagon newcomer Jake Ellenberger. Middleweights Tim Credeur and Nate Quarry will also duke it out on the main card.
