Melvin Guillard soundly dominated Evan Dunham, earning a knockout in the first round of their scheduled three round main event pairing. Guillard certainly looked every bit the part of a solid title contender landing seemly at will against the highly touted Dunham who came into the fight with just one controversial defeat.
Not to be outdone, Matt Mitrione continued his conquest over UFC heavyweight also-ran's with an impressive first round knockout over Tim Hague. The former NFL football player is now 4-0 in the octagon and appears ready for a step up in competition.
In other action, Mark Hominick earned his title against featherweight champion Jose Aldo with a dominant performance of his own against George Roop. Hominick quickly picked his former training partner apart for a first round knockout of his own. He'll likely end up locking horns with Aldo at UFC 129 at the end of April.
