Jon Jones (-260) vs. Brandon Vera (+200): Jones got a bit out of control against Matt Hamill but that doesn't mean he wasn't absolutely dominating (he was). Vera shouldn't pose any outstanding challenge to Jones' raw talent and striking ability. I like Jones running away with this one.

Junior dos Santos (-280) vs. Gabriel Gonzaga (+210): This is a similar fight to the Jones/Vera bout. A younger, more talented striker goes up against a guy he should, for all intents and purposes, soundly beat. Unforunately, I don't love the odds here. Dos Santos wins this more times than not, but close to 75% of the time? It's a little worrisome for me, so I'l stay away on the straight bet but get involved with a parlay involving Junior later on.

Cheick Kongo (-400) vs. Paul Buentello (+300): What can I say about this one? Kongo tries to get back on track after being embarrassed at the hands of Frank Mir. This is clearly a rebound fight for Kongo, but -400? I can't tell if this is a lock or I should throw a play on the Headhunter just in case. I'm going with just in case. Note the SMALL play. I don't believe Buentello will win this, but the odds are good enough to get me moving.

Eliot Marshall vs. Vladimir Matyushenko: I know Matyushenko is 39 years old but his comeback tour has been impressive. If you can get him under -200, I say go for it.

Alessio Sakara vs. James Irvin: This is a tough one to call but let's look at the facts. Sakara is on a tidy little two fight win streak and Irvin hasn't fought in NEARLY TWO YEARS. Get on Sakara here, anything better than -175.

The parlay. You have to love these bets. I truly believe that Jones, Dos Santos, and Kongo will all win, but their individual odds were too outrageous to make me a believer. The answer? A sweet little parlay that will reward me handsomely for picking winners.
