James Irvin vs. Alessio Sakara
Round 1- They exchange some meaningless combos then Sakara slips while throwing a leg kick, no damage. Sakara is getting the better of a few early exchanges but the action is relatively slow at this point. Final Result: Sakara wins by TKO (eye injury) at 3:01 of round 1.
Cheick Kongo vs. Paul Buentello
Round 1- Kongo leads with a leg kick then pushes the action to the cage and looks for a takedown. He gets Buentello down against the cage where Buentello pulls half guard. No real damage is being done as Buentello gets to his feet only to be slammed by Kongo again. Buentello is trying to scramble out but Kongo is keeping him on the mat. Buentello gets loose and throws a right hand that appears to have broken or dislocated a finger. The doctor clears the continuation and the Headhunter celebrates as he goes back to his corner. Herb Dean restarts the fight. They exchange a few combos then Kongo scores...
