Undefeated Korean middleweight Dongi Yang has reportedly agreed to make his Octagon debut against "The Ultimate Fighter 11" alum Chris Camozzi at UFC 121 in October.
Yang most recently scored a first round TKO win over Bill Saures at Trench Warz 12 on May 21. He has put together a perfect 9-0 MMA record since turning pro in June 2007, picking up wins in other notable organizations such as DEEP and Sengoku.
Yang, who trains at Korean Top Team with current WEC fighter Chan Sung Jung, has finished all of his nine career wins, including eight by TKO and one by submission. The 27-year-old holds a notable career win over PRIDE veteran and judo Olympic gold medalist Pawel Nastula.
On season 11 of TUF reality series, Camozzi (13-3) secured a spot in the house by defeating Victor O'Donnell in his qualifier fight. However, he would be forced to leave the show due to a fractured jaw he suffered in the qualifying fight.
Camozzi must have impressed the UFC brass in his only TUF fight, as he earned a call back to fight at the live finale in June, where he notched an unanimous decision win over James Hammortree. The win was Camozzi's third straight victory.
The as-of-yet announced UFC 121 event takes place on October 23 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The event will likely be headlined by a UFC heavyweight title bout between current champion Brock Lesnar and top contender, Cain Velasquez.
