by Natalia Baage on April 03, 2010

Next Saturday, the UFC middleweight belt will be on the line as champion Anderson Silva puts his skills to the test against fellow Brazilian Demian Maia.

April 10's UFC 112 will showcase Silva's renowned striking and Maia's world-class jiu-jitsu.

Silva holds a 25-4 MMA record, capturing the middleweight belt in just his second trip inside the Octagon in October 2006 where he defeated Rich Franklin. Maia is currently 12-1, finishing nine of his victories by submission.
