Video: Frankie Edgar video blog - Off to Abu Dhabi
by Natalia Baage on April 05, 2010

Frankie Edgar takes fans behind the scenes before he leaves for Abu Dhabi.

The #1 UFC lightweight contender spends time with his year-old son before leaving for the airport, encouraging him to walk, before he wobbles, stumbles and falls.

Then Edgar is off on his trip, focusing on derailing lightweight titleholder B.J. Penn from defending his belt.

The New Jersey native currently holds a 11-1 record (6-1 in the UFC), and holds wins over the likes of Spencer Fisher, Matt Veach, Sean Sherk, Hermes Franca and Mark Bocek. His only loss has come at the hands of Gray Maynard, who was considered for this title shot after his win over Nate Diaz in January.

UFC 112: "Invincible" will take place on April 10 from the U.A.E. Other bouts on the card include a middleweight title fight between champion Anderson Silva and contender Demian Maia.
