UFC light-heavyweight star Keith Jardine is the star of a new commercial for Wonderful Pistachios.

Yesterday, Jardine left a message on his Twitter page:

"Hey guys. I have a new commercial out on youtube. Check it out and rate it. Thanks!!"

Jardine is getting used to being in front of a camera. After some film roles, he has shifted into the realm of TV commercials.  So far this year, Jardine has appeared in two feature films: "Gamer," starring alongside Gerard Butler; and "Crank: High Voltage," with Jason Statham.

The Wonderful Pistachios commercial was filmed at Greg Jackson's Gym in Albuquerque, NM, where he trains with former light-heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and current TUF 10 contestant James McSweeney.

Jardine (14-6-1) is rumored to be fighting former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin at UFC 110 on Feb. 21 in Sydney, Australia.  While the bout has not been confirmed by the UFC, it is a bout that fans have showed interest in seeing.The two fighters have some history together.  During season two of The Ultimate Fighter, Franklin was one of the coaches, and he chose Jardine as his first pick.

The former bounty hunter holds a UFC record of 6-5.  However, he has gone 0-2 in his fights in 2009, losing a unanimous decision to Quinton Jackson at UFC 96, and suffering a devastating KO loss to Thiago Silva at UFC 102.  In past years, he has picked up victories over the likes of light-heavyweights Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin and Brandon Vera.
