Tito Ortiz was arrested earlier today for domestic violence. Girlfriend Jenna Jameson told TMZ photographers that she will press charges against the former light-heavyweight champion.
Ortiz was taken from their home Orange County and transported to the Huntington Beach jail in Calif. after police received a 911 call from Jameson's father, saying that there was a "disturbance" at the Ortiz/Jameson house earlier this morning at 9:53 a.m.
According to TMZ, Jameson is visibly injured and left her home with her father. However, even though Jameson looked injured, police have not releasing the victim's name.
"I'm okay," Jameson told TMZ, on the verge of tears. "I really can't talk about it right now. I'm okay, yeah, I'm gonna be alright. My babies are alright... everything's OK .. he's in jail."
Lt. Mike Reynolds of the Huntington Beach PD told Sherdog that Ortiz can post bail after arraignment.
The reports come as a shock to many fans as Ortiz has always been very protective of his family - girlfriend and twin children.
UFC President Dana White has since weighed in on the arrest, saying that if the charges prove to be true, he may drop Ortiz from the organization. However, the UFC will not make any decisions before all reports are in, TMZ reported.
"Other than going on a killing spree, being accused of domestic violence is the worst thing you can have going for you," White said.
