Vladimir Matyushenko ready to fight the Devil
by Lex McMahon on July 29, 2010

During a break from training, Vladimir Matyushenko talks candidly about the forces that drive him to compete and his willingness to fight the Devil himself if he is standing on the opposite side of the Octagon. Respect the Janitor!

 |  (21) Comments Mickey knox: Nothing aginst Jones, he's got a bright future in this sport, but I'm rooting for Vlad 100%. The odds of the Janitor winning are a lot higher than a lot of people seem to think. xdusty: i gotta disagree guys. jones is just to explosive and aggressive for matyu. i think matyu should try and close distance and work some dirty boxing for his best shot at winning this. B_Type13X2: I am divided on this fight but really what its going to show is if Jones is for real or if he just looks really good beating lower tier LHW's. GO HARD: im going to say Vlad has a chance to win,.... yeah maybe about 5 %. Bones is not gonna be stupid in this fight. he knows Vlad is dangerous. this is just another corpse in the coffin of his bright ufc career. 1st round tko. if im vlad , i just try to stay inside, weather the storm... bones could wear out and then vlad would have a better chance in the later rounds. bones looks so mchbigger than vlad... its dayum near scarey. aikage: Vlad isn't even gonna leave his corner before he gets punched in the mouth. Jon Jones' reach is just ridiculous. EverlastingSpringtime: I have maximum respect for the janitor :) seriously though i dont like his chances against jones. John Jones is to fast and moves to well, im sure we will see a great fight, and Vlad will show great heart. Id be happy for either fighter to get the win here. IwishIwasMMA: anyone want to help me out with some PMs of where i can watch this? We dont get this channel up here. Anthony: Matyushenko needs 185 and I mean he needs it today. GO HARD: yeah janitor looks small but i would say its too late for that one.
