All 22 fighters competing in Sunday's "WEC 39: Brown vs. Garcia" have hit the scales and made weight without incident.

The WEC 39 weigh-ins was forced to take place at the unusual local time of 10:00 a.m. at the American Bank Center Arena due to the arena being in use Saturday night for an NCAA basketball game between Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Stephen F. Austin.

WEC 39 features featherweight champ Mike Brown putting his belt on the line for the first time against top contender Leonard Garcia in the main event. Former WEC lightweight champion Rob McCullough will also face local favorite Marcus Hicks. Fast rising featherweight Jose Aldo returns on just five weeks' rest to face very tough veteran Chris Mickle. Hard hitting WEC veteran Bart Palaszewski will also fight on the main card against WEC newcomer Ricardo Lamas.

WEC 39’s main card will be aired live on VERSUS.
