WEC 43: "Cerrone vs. Henderson" is officially set to go down as all participants competing in tomorrow night's event made weight on their first attempt, with the exception of one, earlier in the day from the Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, TX.

The event will take place tomorrow night, Oct. 10, at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX, and the event's main card will be televised on the Versus network beginning at 9 pm ET.

It will be headlined by a WEC interim lightweight title bout between Donald Cerrone and Benson Henderson. The winner of the bout will likely face current WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner in early 2010. Both fighters met the 155-pound limit for title fights as Cerrone came in at 154.5 pounds and Henderson was at 155 lbs.

In the second featured bout of the evening, former WEC lightweight title contender Rich Crunkilton will return to face undefeated lightweight prospect Dave Jansen. Both men weighed in at 156 lbs. respectively.

Other bouts featured on the main card include top-ten featherweight Raphael Assuncao taking on WEC newcomer Yves Jabouin, and Damacio Page will look to inch closer to a WEC bantamweight title shot when he takes on Will Campuzano.

Some undercard bouts of note include an interesting lightweight bout between Anthony Njokuani and Muhsin Corbbrey. Another bout is a featherweight bout between IFL veteran Deividas Taurosevicius and Javier Vazquez.

One incident of note, preliminary card replacement fighter Mackens Semerzier, failed to make weight on his first attempt as he came in a half pound over the 146-pound limit for his featherweight bout against the highly ranked Wagnney Fabiano. However, Semerzier was able to lose the extra half pound and made weight on his second try after the formal weigh-in ceremony.
