Following last night's WEC 44, promotion officials announced at the post-fight press conference the recipients of the "fight night" bonuses from the event.

The WEC dished out a total of $40,000 in bonus money to four of the 20 fighters who competed on the card.

Main event fighter Jose Aldo, as well as Shane Roller, Cub Swanson and John Franchi each earned $10,000 "Fight Night" bonuses for their outstanding performances at WEC 44.

Newly crowned WEC featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, earned "Knockout of the Night" honors for his impressive second-round TKO win over former featherweight champion, Mike Brown.

Competing on the preliminary portion of the card, featherweights Swanson and Franchi earned "Fight of the Night" honors for their three-round war which saw Swanson walk away with a submission win. Team Takedown's Roller earned the "Submission of the Night" award for his third-round rear-naked choke submission win over Danny Castillo.
