Following Saturday's WEC 45, promotion officials announced at the post-fight press conference the recipients of the "fight night" bonuses from the event.
The WEC dished out a total of $50,000 in bonus money to six out of the 20 fighters who competed on the card.
Main event fighters Donald Cerrone and Ed Ratcliff as well Brad Pickett and Anthony Njokuani each earned $10,000 "Fight Night" bonuses for their outstanding performances at WEC 45.
Competing in the main event, Cerrone and Ratcliff earned "Fight of the Night" honors for their three-round lightweight battle, which saw Cerrone walk away with a third-round rear-naked choke submission win.
WEC general manager Reed Harris and matchmaker Sean Shelby also awarded Scott Jorgensen and Takeya Mizugaki with a "Fight of the Night" bonus for their three-round bantamweight war, in which Jorgensen walked away with a unanimous decision win. Jorgensen and Mizugaki each received an extra $5,000 for their efforts.
Co-main event fighter Anthony Njokuani earned his third-straight "Knockout of the Night" bonus for his impressive first-round TKO win over former IFL star Chris Horodecki. The win moved Njokuani into lightweight title contention, possibly priming him for the next title shot.
Preliminary card fighter Brad Pickett took home the "Submission of the Night" award for his second-round peruvian necktie submission win over Kyle Dietz.
