WEC 48: "Aldo vs. Faber" is officially set to go down as all 22 participants competing in tomorrow night's event successfully made weight without incident earlier today from the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California.

The blockbuster WEC 48 card takes place tomorrow, April 24, at the same venue as today's weigh-in ceremony with the event's main card to be televised on pay-per-view beginning at 10 p.m. EST. It will be the WEC's first ever pay-per-view event.

Following in the foot steps of the other ZUFFA owned promotion, the UFC, the Spike TV broadcast of two select WEC 48 preliminary card bouts, featuring a lightweight bout between UFC veteran Alex Karalexis and exciting prospect Anthony Pettis, as well as a featherweight bout between former WEC 145-lb title contender Leonard Garcia and debuting prospect Chan Sung Jung, begins an hour prior to the PPV start time at 9 p.m. EST.

The event is headlined by a WEC featherweight title bout between current champion Jose Aldo and popular former champion, Urijah Faber. Aldo weighed in right at 145-pounds and Faber came in at 144.5-pounds.

In the night's co-main event, WEC lightweight champion Ben Henderson will face contender Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in a rematch from their previous "Fight of the Year" candidate effort at WEC 43 in October. The challenger, Cerrone, tipped the scales at 154.5-pounds and the champion, Henderson, weighed in at 155-pounds.

Other bouts on the main card include a very pivotal featherweight showdown between former WEC champion Mike Brown and TUF 5 cast member Manny Gamburyan. Also, lightweight contenders Anthony Njokuani and Shane Roller will meet in a very crucial divisional match up with the winner possibly getting a title shot.

In addition, featherweight contenders Antonio Banuelos and Scott Jorgensen will square off in a rematch from their previous war at WEC 41 last June in the first bout on the televised main card.
