The WEC today released the official full fight card for WEC 39: Brown vs. Garcia on March 1st. This will be WEC's first venture into Texas as it will be hald at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

The WEC featherweight title will be up for grabs as current featherweight titleholder Mike Thomas Brown, who is coming off of a stunning upset victory over WEC superstar and former featherweight champ Urijah Faber, defends his title against Leonard Garcia. Garcia is coming off of a impressive win over Jens Pulver in his last fight.

The rest of the main card features rising featherweight Jose Aldo taking on Chris Mickle, two explosive lightweight bouts as Bart Palaszewski takes on Richard Crunkilton and former 155-pound champion “Razor” Rob McCullough will take on top contender Marcus Hicks. The last main card fight pits undefeated prospect Johny Hendricks against WEC veteran Alex Serdyukov in what could be one of the last welterweight fights in the WEC due to the WEC dissolving the welterweight division.
