MMA's resident troublemaker, Junie Browning, has just made some more trouble for himself after failing to appear in court to face charges that he assaulted staff members at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Las Vegas, NV.
Authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Browning was at the hospital getting treatment for an attempted suicide when he turned on nurses at the hospital and allegedly assaulted several other staff on hand, prompting the original arrest. He was released from the UFC following the incident and was subsequently picked up by a promotion called "MMA Big Show" to appear at a Nov. 28 event in Indiana.
FiveKnuckles.com recently attempted to contact Browning for an interview, but multiple messages went unreturned.
Browning (3-1) came to prominence for his often outlandish and highly questionable behavior as part of Spike TV's "The Ultimate Fighter 8" cast. He was defeated on the show by the tournaments' eventual champion, Efrain Escudero. He also recently dropped his first official fight, losing to Cole Miller in his last outing at Ultimate Fight Night 19 last April.
It's currently unknown how Browning's latest run-in with the law will affect his upcoming fight, but promoters of the event have indicated that they remain intent on continuing the show as planned.
