Welterweights Matt Riddle (5-2) and T.J. Grant (16-5) and lightweights Charles Oliveira (14-1) and Nik Lentz (21-3-2) will meet at UFC on Versus 4, according to the UFC.
UFC on Versus 4 is scheduled for June 26 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Riddle hopes to rebound from a tough loss to Sean Pierson at UFC 124. The two put on a slugfest for three straight rounds, much to the fans delight. The UFC allowed the fans to pick the Fight of the Night for the event, much to the chagrin of Dana White. At the post-fight press conference White made it known that the fans had cost Riddle and Pierson the bonus by voting Georges St-Pierre vs. Koscheck the Fight of the Night.
Meanwhile, T.J. Grant hopes to get back in the win column from a decision loss to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert Ricardo Almeida. He may be fighting for his spot on the roster after going 2-3 in his past five fights. However, many fans felt as if Grant defeated Johny Hendricks when they met at UFC 113.
21-year old prospect Charles Oliveira hopes to rebound following his first professional defeat. Oliveira had all the hype in the world behind him when he met Jim Miller at UFC 124. The craft Miller caught Oliveira in a kneebar at the start of the first round, forcing the Brazilian to tap. Prior to that, Oliveira had put on two exquisite performances inside the Octagon when he defeated Efrain Escudero and Darren Elkins.
Nik Lentz is undefeated in six appearances inside the Octagon. Outside of a draw with Thiago Taveres, "The Carny" has bested all of his opponents. His wrestling heavy style has led to some people to label him as boring, but he simply keeps winning. He last stepped in the Octagon with Waylon Lowe at UFC Fight Night 23 and produced one of the best fights of the card when he secured a comeback victory in the third frame with a guillotine choke.
UFC on Versus 4 is headlined by a welterweight fight between Anthony Johnson and Nate Marquardt.
