Winners:

TUF Finales & Fight Night cards: These often earn the UFC a sour pre-event stigma, as detractors suggest that the shows are merely a way to keep more fighters on the roster and earn some extra cash in between larger pay per views. The last few of their kind, however, have shattered this now specious theory. Just as undercards routinely turn in better performances than the main cards, these free shows have been shaping up to be more entertaining than the pay shows. Perhaps it is the fact that lesser known fighters are involved, and they need to do anything they can to make an impression on Joe Silva and the UFC brass. Whatever the reason, fight fans are winning.

Diego Sanchez: He's look better (and more insane) in every fight he's taken since the Fitch loss. Sanchez's striking has improved to a tremendous level of competence -- so much so that he was even connecting from his back. With this win, he becomes the 3rd best lightweight in the UFC and easily one the top 10 in the world.

Dana White: By offering 3 fight of the night bonuses, White proves that he really is all about performance. Love him or hate him, he's a man of his word.

Joe Stevenson: Few fighters needed to get back on track as much as Joe Daddy. With a solid win over the very talented Nate Diaz, Stevenson did just that.

Losers:

Nate Diaz: Diaz has more jiu jitsu chops than just about anyone in the company, but he's now lost two fights that he probably should have won.

Clay Guida: Man, this guy sure is tough, but he doesn't help his own cause. First, there's the hair, which many feel cost Guida points on the scorecards and in a separate incident, got him booted from the UFC video game. Second, prior to event, he claimed that he was one of the best 155ers in the company. He's fun to watch, yes, but one of the best, he is not.
