I f the same comment was made about a guy you didn't personaly care so much about would you be getting so worked up? by your own addmission i don't think so. GO HARD: and to me the shogun is not anderson is very relevant. he is fighting forrest, people claimed for so long that shogun is better than anderson.... soooooo lets see if what he does to forrest is even remotely close to what anderson did. q; ) and i wish fighters the best of luck, im taking forrest in this. GO HARD: i posted the video... i DO NOT , i repeat i DO NOT hate shogun. not one bit... the fact that i bring up Silva is so not oblivious. in a forum... it is sooo easy to ignore whatever you dont like what someone says.. its that simple. theres tons of crap that i hate that people say... most of the time i ignore. so i bring up silva to bring down shogun, take it for what it is... trolling. to me, its having fun... if it hits a nerve with u, then ignore it... if u want to have some fun and debate on who's better than do that. its your choice. maybe you're doubting your boy shogun a bit... and i hit a nerve... i dunno, but chill out.... i do me when i post, i dont post for nobody else. if u dont like it... ignore it. And i know Forrest has a big task ahead of him, just think he can do it. "As I said in a different thread, i do give Forrest the advantage in strength, and size, and conditioning. Which, I know, are HUGE parts of the fight. Forrest has clean boxing as well, but Shogun has much better boxing. More power, better technique, and better footwork, and a better chin."-------------------------------- Makes it sound like one could neutralize the other. "Shogun has better BJJ, GNP, top control, and a better guard(I know Forrest won by sub the first fight, but i think we can both agree that it was due to conditioning, and not technical skill)."------------------------------ This one is something ALOT of gun fans have a big mis-conception about. Well "technical skill" wise if a guy is putting his arms around your throat then you go for hand control...day 1 bjj really. My thing is this, ALL yes ALL of Shogun's bjj belt promotions have been due to his mma fights. The ONLY bjj comp's he ever competed in he finished 1st in a regional comp(big deal) and when competed at Mundials only placed 5th in the blue belt division. Now cmon, Tito has done WAY better at WAY better comps...ie: ADCC. So imo, like many Brazilians, there are more then a few honorary bjjbb....it's not a seceret if you train with any of them. "As far as the Jones fight, well, apparently everyone was DEAD wrong haha"-------------------- See, my point EXACTLY, I wasn't nor weere the professional odds makers in Vegas. Know why? Cause only on paper and hardcore gun fans were picking the gun, Vegas isn't about giving $ away and thats why Bones was the favorite. just my.02 SicJits: I love watchin the gun fight, but please be healthy so we don't have to hear your fans excuses if/when you lose. Everything else is there, and very very good. Just needs to keep the gas tank full
